Daniyal Sharieff is a multidisciplinary artist with an architect’s eye and a restless hand. He uses paint and film to capture the human experience - from spirituality, to community, to storytelling.
Born in Dubai and honed in New York, with roots in India - his ethnic background, along with his experience in architecture and film, brings an eclectic style to his practice. His work seeks to connect people with faith, and with each other. He collaborates with brands and individuals alike - to celebrate experiences, products, and ideas through original, custom artwork.
“BEYOND ARCHITECTURE”
After a decade of studying design and working in the field, Sharieff’s interest now lies in the exploration of what’s beyond architecture. He’s more compelled about what architecture can do, and less about what it is. To use it as a medium for storytelling, to show how it can engage with different industries, and to inspire new ways of experiencing space and community.
